ar Pacific was founded by Rich Molino in 2004 as Global Freight Solutions (GFS Food Services) to better connect the Hawaiian Islands to the U.S. Mainland through multi-temp freight consolidations. Mar Pacific has since expanded our food grade and temperature-controlled services to cover every step of the logistic lifecycle from ingredient sourcing and fulfillment of finished goods to all forms of transportation whether by ground, ocean or air.

n 2004 Jason Molino joined GFS as President and quickly distinguished GFS as a food specialist, expanding GFS refrigeration and food grade consolidation capabilities GFS Food Services grew warehousing, transportation and managed services culminating in a unique food service distribution and 3PL model focused on connecting the wider Pacific region beyond Hawaii into Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, China and Guam. And so it is, with a commitment to connecting the Pacific through 3PL and food services, that GFS Food Services has become Mar Pacific Consolidations & Food Services.
